Everything you need to know about Dublin

The City
A walkable capital with a strong food scene, two world-class universities, and a creative industry that punches well above its weight. Dublin is compact enough to explore on foot — Trinity College, Temple Bar, and the Georgian squares are all within 20 minutes of Ballsbridge.
If you've got an afternoon free between sessions: the National Gallery, the Little Museum of Dublin, and the EPIC Immigration Museum are all worth the walk.
Travelling
Getting to Dublin
Dublin Airport (DUB) is the main international gateway, with direct flights from most major European cities, the US, and the Middle East. From there, the Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge is a 25–35 minute journey depending on your transport choice — full breakdown below.

Travelling
You won't need a car. The DART (Dublin's coastal train line) connects Sandymount Station — a 5-minute walk from the hotel — to the city centre, Howth, and the coastal villages south of Dublin. Dublin Bus routes 4 and 7 stop near the hotel. Taxis are plentiful and affordable. For shorter trips, walking is genuinely the fastest option.
